“Fresher Wi[n]dow,” is a reaction to Duchamp’s “Fresh Widow,” and the city of Philadelphia. It is play on a French window, stained glass window and a deserted building. It pushes itself into space and has moments of negated material as well as added materials. It is my first attempt to bring ideas of a leaded glass window into a sculptural more abstract world.
