Still images from my window kites made during my Autumn 2010 Museum of Arts and Design Open-Studio Residency in New York, NY. A project that began with making "windows" inspired by central park and resulted in making "kite windows" and flying them in Central Park.

This is my first silk painting project and my first attempts at building fly-able kites!
